Trend Viewer Live
Every trend log from every building in one fast, phone-friendly viewer. Overlay any points and zoom into any time range in seconds.
DP Automation connects to the building automation system you already have, puts every trend log in one fast viewer, and uses AI to write the findings an experienced controls technician would: what's broken, where, and what to check first.
VAV-07 can't cool its zone. Damper pinned at 100% from 1 to 6 PM while the room drifted to 77°F. Check AHU-1 static pressure first.
Every modern building automation system (BAS) logs temperatures, airflow, valve and damper positions and equipment status every few minutes. The answers to most comfort complaints and wasted energy are already sitting in those trend logs.
A mid-size building with a thousand trended points logs millions of values a month. Nobody has time to scroll through them.
A stuck damper, a leaking valve or a sensor that quietly fails can waste energy and cause hot and cold calls long before anyone notices.
Service reports, install punch lists and closeout documents take hours away from actually fixing buildings.
Web apps that work on a phone in a mechanical room or on a laptop at a desk. No software to install.
Building data
Every trend log from every building in one fast, phone-friendly viewer. Overlay any points and zoom into any time range in seconds.
The AI reads days or weeks of data across the whole building and writes an engineering findings report: what's wrong, the evidence, and what to check first.
Turn a sequence of operations into checks and grade every unit PASS or FAIL against real trend data. Built for commissioning and functional testing.
Ask in plain English: "Which VAV boxes couldn't hold setpoint yesterday afternoon?" Answers come straight from the trend data. Read-only by design.
Field tools
Talk, type and snap photos on site. Get a clean, letterheaded service report in Word or PDF before you're back at the truck.
Per-equipment checklists built straight from the controls drawings. Crews check off each unit with photo proof, and the lead signs it off.
Traditional fault detection and diagnostics (FDD) fires fixed rules and buries you in alerts. DP Automation reads the trends like an experienced controls tech, groups related symptoms, and explains each finding with the data behind it.
Example from a fictional demo building. Demos never show customer data.
No rip and replace, no new thermostats, no changes to the building's programming.
Niagara 4 and EC-Net stations push their trend history on a schedule. Other BACnet/IP systems are read by a small on-site collector. Read-only, always.
Every trend, every building, in one browser viewer. Each login only sees the buildings it is allowed to see.
Run an AI review on demand. It reads the data, writes findings in plain English with the evidence, and can grade each unit against the sequence of operations.
Who it's for
Know how your HVAC is really running, and walk into a service call already knowing what's wrong.
Find the problem from the trends before you roll a truck, and finish the report on your phone.
Verify sequences against weeks of real data instead of a few minutes of spot checks.
DP Automation is Dallas Probert, a building automation specialist in San Diego. He has programmed and serviced HVAC controls since 2018 and builds the tools a controls technician actually wants: software that does the reading and the paperwork, so people can spend their time fixing buildings.
DP Automation builds AI software for building automation. It collects HVAC trend data from a building's existing control system, shows it in a fast web trend viewer, and uses AI to review that data and write findings: failed sensors, starved VAV boxes, zones that cannot hold setpoint, and equipment that is not following its sequence of operations.
A building automation system (BAS) records sensor readings, setpoints and commands every few minutes: temperatures, airflow, damper and valve positions, fan and pump status. These trend logs show exactly how the equipment behaved, but there are usually far too many to read by hand. DP Automation reads them for you.
Niagara 4 and EC-Net 4 stations (Tridium, Distech Controls and other Niagara-based systems) push their trend history directly. Other BACnet/IP systems can be read by a small on-site collector. Nothing in the existing controls has to be replaced.
No. DP Automation is read-only. It reads trend data and never writes setpoints, schedules or commands to the building's equipment.
Traditional FDD runs fixed rules and produces long lists of alarms. DP Automation's AI review reads the trends the way an experienced controls technician would, groups related symptoms into a short list of findings, shows the evidence in plain English, and says what to check first. It can also grade each piece of equipment PASS or FAIL against the project's written sequence of operations.
Facility managers and building owners who want to know how their HVAC is really running, controls contractors and service technicians who need to find problems faster, and commissioning agents who need to verify sequences with real data.
Each building's data is stored in its own database, and every login is limited to the buildings that user is allowed to see. Demos run on a fictional building, so no customer data is ever shown.
